Yet Again!

As I listen to more of Ah Aah..
Shabba Shabba from Ottam becomes Thazhuvudu Naluvudhu.. though SPB & S Goshal tries to save the song it gets boring to hear a rrrrepeat;
Uthaya Uthaya takes form as Anarkali, transparent shades from Kanalane becomes Mayiliragai; But I must say that the new find Naresh Iyer has a bright future :) great going crooner.
Maramkothiye claims to be the remix ver. of Mayiliragai - HaHa :) PLEASE A R R!
Anbe Aaruyire, A R R 's roar sounds like a very lazy effort given the amateur sound effect used totally out of synch.. Mr. Rahman tries to sing :(
When it comes to A R R the singer Kaneere from Uyire rules!
Varugirai with shades of many rahmanish interludes jamming with MJish rhythm's has Hari and Chitra after a looong gap which is cool;
Oh and did you all notice the treble.. very much like a non rahman album.

Proficiency

Considering and comprehending heat is just another expression for thermal energy, I think we aught to use it wisely as the summer progresses.. hmmm.. what do you all say? Sorry but all I can think of right now;

As the humidity brings perspiration all over me,
The "projection screen" of the restless mind
Brings, loves, triumphs, joys, festivity, defeats and sorrows,
Not to forget THE sense of ardor!

Try it your self!

The next time you find yourself sitting at your desk, staring at your computer, absorbed in your work; instead try to do something other than work consistently to clear your own consciousness.. so you can relate to the infinity within, you could be casting the vote that determines the success of your business -- or its failure.

Soon!

I’ve had a few rough days and must have gone through male PMS because I’ve felt like I have had a lot to get upset about. But, oh well. Nothing good would come of me getting all “bombastic” about the negatives affecting my family such as (wanting to)housing back home and the contretemps going on with the **FP**. I have been told that by the end of July( a few more dayssss :)), both of these problems will be resolved.
It is all meant for the better! I have faith/hope; moreover; testament is crucial in life!

Look out

Microsoft has decided on an official name for Longhorn: Windows Vista.
The last major version of Windows, code-named "Whistler," eventually was christened Windows XP. Vista Beta 1 is widely expected to be unveiled next week. Beta 2 is due in the first half of 2006. Microsoft officials confirmed on Thursday the final release is still on track for the latter half of 2006.

Stranger in Moscow

I was wandering in the rain
Mask of life, feelin’ insane
Swift and sudden fall from grace
Sunny days seem far away
Kremlin’s shadow belittlin’ me
Stalin’s tomb won’t let me be
On and on and on it came
Wish the rain would just let me

How does it feel
When you’re alone
And you’re cold inside

Here abandoned in my fame
Armageddon of the brain
Kgb was doggin’ me
Take my name and just let me be
Then a begger boy called my name
Happy days will drown the pain
On and on and on it came
And again, and again, and again...
Take my name and just let me be

Like stranger in moscow
We’re talkin’ danger, baby
Like stranger in moscow.

Thanks

Okay, it turns out I do have a guardian angel, and he came through for me when I needed him. It was sweet and wonderful, and I'm fairly sure that this particular debt can never be repaid. Not in the material sense, of course, but the way that happens when someone goes so far out of their way that you'll never be able to make it up to them. So thanks.

Varugirai

Your cold heart's no friend of mine
You're thrilling me, you're killing me
And I've been waiting all this time
And I can't change this sorry song
You're making me, you're breaking me
Please Go!!!

This is the basic idea of the song from the new album Ah Aah by A R Rahman. The song Varugirai rendered by Chitra, after a long time we get to listen to the lovely voice of hers in a duet with Hariharan. Though the rhythm reminds me of a few songs by MJ; for example the second innings sounds very close to a track from the album BOTDF (Blood on The Dance Floor) called Super Fly Sister. But hey who was not inspired by MJ? The song has great pitch variations, which keeps me drawn to it!

S P Balasubramaniyam may be old but his voice is NOT! He is the man when it comes to film songs. Sensual incantation by both SPB and Shreya Ghoshal.

Maram Kothiye by Vasundra Das, Shalini and Shankar Mahadevan, how a song could make so much noise, but perfect noise, was beyond me. If I could think of two words to describe my feelings about what the who/what were then it is: organized chaos.
Ah Aah - A great album of soothing, totally individual music.
If you like The Flaming lips, buy this album.
If you like Thundering rhythms, buy this album.
If you like delicate thoughtful vocals, buy this album.

Ah Aah

The opening bars as heard has some sinusoidal change of pitch, great rhythms with subtle, heart-tugging, and yet coming alive with infuses energy yet ofcourse dulcet rendering from the one and only Hariharan: I cannot wait for the album to release now!

Requiem for A Dream

Undoubtedly one of the most effective films I've ever seen about the experience of drug addiction! But the movie like no other adopts the NO style or artistic consideration in the life of a drug addict, only desperation, and that is what this film captures...and brilliantly so at that.

A must see!

Alert

I am sure you've heard about "phishers" but what about "pharmers" ??

"phishing," the sending of bogus e-mails -- allegedly from a bank or other online business -- by criminals who hope to hook the unwary.

"pharmers," basicaly plant a seed of malicious software in your own computer; or even worst poison servers that direct traffic on the Internet. The result: You type in the correct address of a Web site, but the software sends you to a bogus one.

Phishing attacks "rely on some gullibility of and participation by the victims," Cottrell says, since they must be persuaded to click on a link within the e-mail. But not clicking on such links "is no protection against a pharming attack."

Here's how the scam works.

The thieves rely on the fact that the word address you use, such as www.my-bank.com, is connected to a distinct numerical address, like a browser to the right Web site. Pharming replaces the number with a fraudulent one, sending you to a criminal site instead of the real one.

Besides keeping antivirus and antispyware programming up to date on their PC, users have few other ways to defend themselves from pharming.

But any site that conducts financial transactions should be able to maintain a secure Web site, Internet security experts say. The corner of the browser should display a padlock symbol, and the address in the address bar should begin with "https," not simply "http."

Are you being scammed?
To determine if you're at the real site, click on the lock symbol and make sure it displays the address you expect, says Mikko Hyppönen, chief research officer of F-Secure, an Internet security company in Helsinki, Finland.

Yes.. One Line!

Eat Well, Stay Fit, Die Anyway.

Life is like a box of chocolates, It's full of nuts.

We are all born naked, wet, and hungry....Then things get worse.

It's not the bullet that kills you, it's the hole.

I still miss my ex...but my aim is getting better!

In the long-run, there's just another short-run.

Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.

Why is "abbreviation" such a long word?

MD to PA to NY

Big Pocono was the destination, thick traffic forced us to enter NY.. Spent the evening around NY- Manhattan, Queens and Flushing as the continued presence of hunger reminded everyone that we have failed to recognize our duty as human beings.. We decided to swing by the Ganapathy Temple and later to THE destination "the dosa hut". As though destined we lost our way to the temple, when found had no cash to feast our selves in the amazingly tasty dosa hut. After failing to find an ATM we took off to MD.. Oh on our way we stopped at Burgers King! Hunger wins!

Lure

I want to be alone, I do. I want to be alone.
And yet I want, oh, yes, it's true, to be with flesh and bone.
I stare, but she's not looking. I look, but she's not there.
I crave/beg attention. Oh Life, you are not fair!
I look with lusting longing. I long, but I don't look.
I'm caught, entrapped by beauty, the skin's appealing hook.
For what, pray, are you looking?Listening? And what may be your gain?
You rant and spout out poetry as if you were insane.
Eruption of anger? And yes, What am I seeking?
I know not what I'm seeking. But, I'll tell you when I do.
Now something from me is leaking like blood/morning's dew.
Tell me what am I missing. What secret does she keep?
What holds the mind so spellbound the body does not sleep?
I do not wish her to be mine, but mine to now enjoy,
And so I see that selfishness is all that holds this boy.

Some light please..

Nobody really knows what they want...we're all idealist when it comes to having our "perfect" mate, Some men complain that women don't know what they want, but it looks to me as though they don't know either. I hear " I want a woman that cooks and cleans and is a freak and blah blah blah blah blah " but then they get it and get tired? Just like some women " I want a nice guy that opens the door for me and blah blah blah blah " but then break it off because " He's too nice. " I am seriously confused by this crap...

I will be there..

I will be there oh Key West!
The sunsets, best viewed,
The 'cedar' business owners, chatty and helpful,
The blues and acoustic guitar act,
The Bicycling down to Duval St. ;
See who is around, and what is new,
The drunken bars, pink flamingoes,
The ubiquitous conch fritter,
And more I could add but;
It is not like being there:
Thus, I shall be there!

Simply

We are all born ignorant to everything and then we are taught by our parents, teachers and anyone else that have the upperhand on us. They teach us THIER values. They teach us what they were taught. We are then corrupted by this as we grow into adult-hood. Something that was taught to us that was wrong could be infact right to someone else. Or visa-versa.
If a species needs food for example- it will find food. It doesn't matter how... and once the species figures it out, they do not classify it as right or wrong. They simply do it to survive! Thus I say needs are not created by right and/or wrong, like wise right and/or wrong do not create needs. Simply to say Right and Wrong do NOT exist. So here is your answer I am not wrong or right, it is just what I think/do or say.

Moonwalking

Michael Jackson is a global superstar, having sold over 458 million solo albums worldwide, including 62 million in USA & 258 million worldwide sales alone for "Thriller," the biggest selling album of all time. The most successful solo artist of all time, someone who's written and recorded a career's worth of unspeakably great songs. This box set is the record of his career to date with inclusion of 13 previously unissued tracks spanning more than a quarter-century of development. And my very own all time favourite Who Is It? a shivery, low-key dance track.
Also the Dangerous concert is included in this set, though I feel the HiStory and Bad tours are more representative of michael's talent as a performer.

Internet

Is the net truly about communication?
70% of all human communication is non-verbal.
The remaining 30% is made up of spoken language and voice tone.
This means - if you're working on the net - that you're using less than 30% of all human communication processes available to you to communicate your message to another Human Being. 101 billion email a day and still not communicating!
